BHOPAL: The Madhya Pradesh Congress organised an “Adivasi Gen Z Fest” in Bhopal on Sunday under its “Students’ Voice” campaign, bringing together tribal youth to showcase their culture, music and traditional art.
Held at Sindhu Bhavan, the event featured cultural performances by tribal groups from different districts of Madhya Pradesh. A performance by a tribal rapper from Maharashtra was among the highlights.
Addressing the programme, Madhya Pradesh Congress president Jitu Patwari said the campaign focuses on issues concerning students and young people, including education, employment and opportunities.
Leader of Opposition Umang Singhar said tribal culture and heritage should be preserved and emphasised the importance of improving access to education and opportunities for tribal youth.
According to the organisers, the campaign will continue in different districts of Madhya Pradesh through similar outreach programmes.
Several Congress leaders, party workers, students and young people attended the event.
