CM Mohan Yadav Promises More Support for MP’s Youth

Speaking at the ‘My Youth-My Pride Conclave’ in Indore, the Chief Minister said a new youth policy will be prepared based on suggestions from young people.

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Saturday said the Madhya Pradesh government would provide every possible support to help young people build careers, improve their skills and become entrepreneurs. He said a new state youth policy would be prepared after considering suggestions received during the ‘My Youth-My Pride Conclave’ in Indore.

Addressing the conclave, the Chief Minister said more than two crore young people in Madhya Pradesh would play a key role in achieving the vision of Developed India 2047. He said the government is expanding skill development programmes through institutions such as the Sant Ravidas Global Skill Park to improve employment opportunities.

Dr Yadav urged young people to become job creators instead of job seekers, saying entrepreneurship, innovation and digital skills would drive the state’s future growth. He also announced a Digital Content Award to recognise creators and influencers producing positive and socially relevant content on digital platforms.

More than 200 digital content creators and influencers from Indore, Ujjain, Dhar and other parts of the Malwa-Nimar region attended the event. The Chief Minister interacted with participants and discussed the role of social media in creating public awareness and encouraging positive social change.

He said 2027 would be dedicated to the welfare of young people in Madhya Pradesh, with greater focus on employment, skill development and entrepreneurship. During the programme, youth representatives submitted a draft ‘Madhya Pradesh Youth Resolution 2026’, which the government said would help shape the proposed youth policy.

The Chief Minister also highlighted government initiatives, including financial support for rural homestays, easier education loans for medical students, incentives for industries creating jobs and the Rahveer Yojana, which rewards people who help road accident victims.

Officials said the conclave included discussions on education, skill development, sports, healthcare, entrepreneurship, agriculture, tourism and community leadership, with experts interacting with young participants.
