CM Mohan Yadav to Launch Rs 352 Crore Projects in Rajgarh

Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav will visit Rajgarh district on Tuesday to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for development projects worth Rs 352 crore. He will also lead the closing ceremony of the Jal Ganga Samvardhan Abhiyan 2026 at Bhainswamata Temple in Sarangpur block.

Union Minister for Panchayati Raj and Rural Development Prahlad Singh Patel, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Technical Education, Skill Development and Employment Gautam Tetwal, and Rajgarh MP Rodmal Nagar will attend the programme.

Dr Yadav will reach Bhainswamata Temple at 1.45 pm and offer prayers. He will later take part in Ganga Pujan, cow worship and a plantation drive at Doodh Talaiya. The Chief Minister will also visit an exhibition showcasing water conservation and environmental projects carried out under Jal Ganga Samvardhan Abhiyan 2.0 in the district.

The programme will also see the release of Rajgarh’s tourism film, a coffee table book, official social media handles and a publication highlighting development works completed in the district.

The Chief Minister is expected to address the gathering on government welfare schemes, water conservation and sustainable development. Beneficiaries of various state schemes will also receive assistance during the event.

“More than 3.62 lakh water conservation works have been completed under the campaign.”

According to the state government, over 3.62 lakh water conservation and restoration works have been completed during the campaign across rural and urban areas, forests, irrigation projects, schools and industrial zones. The campaign included groundwater recharge, rainwater harvesting, river restoration, water quality testing and public awareness activities.

District-level closing ceremonies will also be held across Madhya Pradesh. Members of Parliament will attend the events in several districts, while Rajya Sabha MP Banshilal Gurjar will be the chief guest in Neemuch.

During the Rajgarh programme, the government will honour gram panchayats, government departments, self-help groups, farmers, volunteers, educational institutions and other stakeholders for their contribution to water conservation. An exhibition on water conservation projects and an audio-visual presentation will also be organised.

The programme will also promote plantation under the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” campaign ahead of the monsoon. The government will introduce the key features of the Viksit Bharat-Grameen Rozgar Evam Aajeevika Mission (VB GRAM G), which is scheduled to begin on July 1, 2026.
